Designer's Note

James Ijames' use of direct address is the method to the magic behind this production. we established a celestial world beyond where perished black men come to terms with their demises and find a path forward to eternal peace. The tragic element behind this surreal play is that all the black men in this story were young, taken by cruel prejudice and systemic racism.

The play has a tremendous amount of 'reality shifts,' and the sound design would Sync with T Paul Lowry's Projection DEsign to enhance their impacts.
